It is noted that during the monitoring of the media, investigators found information that a pack of stray dogs appeared on one of the streets of the city.
"On this fact, the investigating authorities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Kemerovo region - Kuzbass are conducting a pre-investigation check," the ministry said in a statement.
An assessment will be given to the actions of those responsible for catching stray animals.
Earlier in Kamchatka, in the city of Vilyuchinsk, investigators began checking after an eight-year-old boy was attacked by a pack of dogs.
