Cairo -

On these days every year, Egyptians' comments about the anniversary of the January 25 Revolution are resurrected, and they become the talk of the hour on social media, and the related and interacting hashtags topped the communication platforms for several days.

The revolution of January 25, 2011 overthrew the late President Hosni Mubarak after 3 decades in power, after 18 days of the revolution and the sit-in in Tahrir Square and chanting slogans calling for "livelihood, freedom, and social justice" against the backdrop of widespread poverty, corruption and injustice for decades.

The outbreak of the January revolution coincided with the 70th Egyptian Police Day, and that was one of the most important reasons that led to the revolution due to the repressive police practices during the Mubarak era and their control of the political scene.

Yesterday, Sunday, Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, during his speech at the celebration of Police Day, congratulated the Egyptian people on the occasion of the January 25 revolution, stressing that it expressed the Egyptians' aspiration to build a new future for this country in which all people enjoy a decent livelihood.

Activists and tweeters stopped at this congratulations as a paradox. Al-Sisi attacked the January 25 revolution more than once, and repeated his accusation that it was behind the country's ruin and loss, noting that one of the reasons for demolishing the state is to move its people and turn it into a tool for its destruction.

Extensive interaction between supporters and opponents

With the closure of all roads to go out and demonstrate or celebrate the anniversary of January 25, the believers in the revolution intensified their presence on social media platforms, stressing that the light of its flame continues, even if it is extinguished like the eternal stars.

No slogan appears on the screens of official and private channels related to the 11th anniversary of the revolution of January 25, 2011, as is the case with the demonstrations of June 30, 2013, whose commemoration slogan tops every year on all television channels. the police.

I saw what the police officers did at the Ismailia site on January 25, 1952, but I saw what the Egyptians did on January 25, 2011

And I will remember the January revolution until the last day of my life as the most honorable thing that happened in the history of this country ❤

And on the anniversary of January 25, I apologize to the 20 young men who preferred to liberate after the resignation speech and Mafarhoush Zina, and they were more aware of what would happen #Saha the January revolution ❤️

The #January25_Revolution,

a people's revolution against tyranny, dictatorship, injustice, tyranny, poverty and marginalization, has entered history and the coup d'état will not be able to erase it with the stroke of a pen.# Leave_ya_Sisi

On the anniversary of the #January25_Revolution

*The way to achieve the dreams of a nation*

So do we have another new way to achieve the dreams of this nation, because the January 25th Revolution was a means to achieve a goal and not an end!

On the other hand, others attacked the January 25 revolution, describing it as a foreign conspiracy against the country, and that it aimed to overthrow the Egyptian state and drag it to the fate of countries in the region such as Syria, Yemen and Libya had it not been for the intervention of the Egyptian armed forces.

Some took advantage of the 70th anniversary of the Egyptian police to express their solidarity with the policemen and to recall their sacrifices for the sake of the homeland, while attacking the January 25 Revolution and its symbols of young people, describing them as hackers and traitors.

They get upset when you say the conspiracy of January, and they get upset when we say traitors, agents, and hirelings.

Although it was a conspiracy to destroy and fragment the Egyptian state..but we do not deny that it corrected many paths for Egypt ✌🇾🇪# Thor_25_January pic.twitter.com/5ueQltmSSV

If it was January 25, the one in which real revolutionaries descended, not some hired, traitors and agents, I would have called it a revolution because the days of Mubarak’s rule were the dirtiest days, but unfortunately, this was a conspiracy against all the Arab countries. In the one who withstood, we decorated and protected his country like our great army. Many peoples #conspiracy_25_january_do not represent me

January 25... The global intelligence feast was not a spontaneous revolution as they claimed... The United States of America was not surprised by the revolution as its administrations wanted to promote the idea...

And the words of James Woolsey, the former CIA chief, who said in 2006, are still remembered

The Egyptian Police Day is a pride for all the people of Egypt on January 25, 1952, and after the cancellation of the Treaty of 36, the British began striking the city of Ismailia with heavy cannons and tanks and demanded the surrender of the police and handing over their weapons.
