According to the police, he has, among other things, thrown glass at a man in the house.
The people in the house must have locked themselves in a bedroom upstairs where the man has worn and pulled on the door to get in but without success.
Police arrived at the scene just before eight on Monday night and were able to arrest the man, who resisted vigorously.
During the arrest, the police used pepper spray to overpower the man.
The man is suspected of a number of crimes - aggravated domestic violence, attempted assault, attempted violence against an official, violent resistance and drug offenses concerning his own use.
The police will now interrogate the man.
His identity has not been established but the police assess that he is in his 30s.
