“Zarema Musaeva is currently in a special detention center at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Chechen Republic for an administrative violation,” RIA Novosti quotes Dudayev.

According to him, Musayeva, after she was taken for interrogation, “attacked, insulted a law enforcement officer at the same time.”

The minister added that the measure of criminal punishment against Musaeva will be determined after the results of a forensic medical examination.

On January 21, Kadyrov wrote that Chechen police brought Zarema Musayeva, wife of retired Chechen Supreme Court judge Saydi Yangulbaev, as a witness within the law.

As RIA Novosti reported, earlier lawyer Natalya Dobronravova said that in Nizhny Novgorod, unknown persons who introduced themselves as operatives took Musaeva for interrogation.

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov commented on the situation with Yangulbaev's wife.
