“In the foreseeable and indefinite future, they (Ukraine. - RT ) will not become a member of NATO,” he said.
According to him, all those who took part in the Bucharest NATO summit in 2008 knew about this, at which it was decided that "Ukraine and Georgia will become members of the alliance."
Earlier, the Prime Minister of Bavaria, the head of the Christian Social Union, Markus Söder, said that the issue of Ukraine's accession to NATO would not be on the agenda for a long time.
