Music, Sports and Cooking at the Australian Pavilion's National Day Celebration at Expo 2020

On January 29, the Australian Pavilion is preparing to celebrate with visitors to the pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, a rich program of music shows, sports matches and culinary programs, on the Australian National Day designated by “Expo 2020”.

The Australian pavilion is consolidating its previous successes since the launch of the World Expo on the first of last October, through a program full of interactive displays on the National Day, so that the Australian pavilion will continue its successes in deepening the concept that it has been based on since the launch of “Expo 2020”, in embodying the breadth of The Australian nation's experience and innovations that open its farmers to the world offer its exceptional expertise and culture.

The Australian National Day celebrations on January 29 highlight the importance of Aboriginal arts, cultures and languages, and the celebration also includes the presentation of the famous Aboriginal Australian rapper and actor Baker Berry, a cultural show in both Al Wasl Square and the Australian Pavilion, and among the remarkable events. For consideration, the ceremonial raising of the official Australian flag over the Dome of Parliament in Australia was broadcast live, to fail simultaneously with the display of Al Wasl Square.

Also, Australian Football League (AFL) workshops are being held at the Aussie Park sports field by A-League star Bashar Hawally.

 Al Wasl Dome is lit up in the evening, with a 7-minute show of the pivotal experience for the visitor to the Australian Pavilion, which is embodied in the “Dream of the Stars” show, in a continuation of the celebrations in front of the pavilion, which also include entertainment music, including performances by the star of the famous talent show “Australia’s Got Talent” Mitch. Tambo, who topped world sales with his first album.

It is worth noting that the Australian pavilion ranks among the most successful pavilions in the first half of the life of "Expo 2020 Dubai", hosting about 87 events, hundreds of commercial and government delegations, more than 45,000 students, and 60 Australian speakers who participated in the "Expo" activities.
