Arnold Schwarzenegger
has been involved in a spectacular traffic accident this Friday afternoon in Los Angeles, his agent has confirmed and picks up the BBC.
Four vehicles were involved in the accident.
In footage of the crash obtained by
TMZ
, a large SUV can be seen on top of at least two vehicles at an intersection in Brentwood.
The police affirm that there are detainees and rule out that the accident had to do with the consumption of drugs or alcohol.
The identities of those involved are unknown, but the former California governor has confirmed to
the Los Angeles Times
that he was the one driving the SUV.
A police report reveals that the driver of the SUV was "near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Allenford Avenue, when a collision occurred with a red Prius that was making a U-turn while using the left turn signal."
The SUV went flying over the Prius and ended up hitting two other vehicles.
A person has had to be transferred to the hospital, although without risk to his life.
Schwarzenegger's agent has confirmed that the actor was uninjured in the collision.
