Kommunen ändrar nu sina rutiner så att just matchningen blir en särskild del av utredningen för att kunna lägga större fokus på det arbetet och tydligare kunna följa bedömningarna.
SVT har tidigare rapporterat om hur ett familjehem anmälde socialnämnden i Halmstad till IVO efter att deras dotter utsatts för övergrepp av en flicka som placerats i deras familj. Familjehemmet anser inte att de fick den information om flickan och det stöd de behövde.
Halmstad kommuns egen internutredning kom fram till att inga fel hade begåtts vid placeringen.
