Under morgonen rapporterade Wallenbergsfärens maktbolag Investor. Aktien gick ned 2 procent trots utlovad höjd utdelning, från 3:50 till 4 kronor per aktie.
Sämst bland bolagen på OMXS30- index gick molntjänstbolaget Sinch som föll 5 procent.
Bland aktierna i den minst dåliga änden av de stora bolagens lista fanns Swedish Match och Tele2 som kunde stoltsera med en minimal uppgång, plus 0,1 procent vardera. Även Astra Zeneca och Volvo AB hörde till de minst drabbade bolagen och slutade på minus 0,9 respektive 0,7 procent.
The Stockholm Stock Exchange also did not receive any traction from the US, where Friday trading began with declines.
At the close of the Swedish stock market, the large indices remained around the zero line.
The leading European stock exchanges also declined.
The London Stock Exchange's FTSE100 index fell 1.3 percent and the Paris Stock Exchange's CAC40 index fell 1.9 percent.
At 17.45, the DAX index in Frankfurt had lost 2.1 percent.
