The Kazakh cinematographer, Daut Sheikhislamov (38 years old), revealed in Al-Wasl Square yesterday, the "Painting of the World", which has so far been painted by 1,890 celebrities and visitors from 192 countries, indicating that it targets 2020 participants in a symbolic way to the "Expo 2020" exhibition. Sheikhislamov, the owner of the painting's idea, told "Emirates Today", "The (World Painting) project was launched in the Kazakhstan pavilion, in conjunction with the launch of the (Expo 2020 Dubai) exhibition on the first of last October, in a work of art during which we, accompanied by film director Akan, were keen on For his drawing 2020 by celebrities and the public of 192 countries, in a painting that unites the planet, with the same image of the success of the World Exhibition (Expo Dubai) in bringing the world together under one dome.

He explained that the length of the painting reaches four meters, while its height is 1.27 meters, indicating that the same feather in this artwork is shared by 2020 participants, including celebrities in different fields, in addition to an audience of general visitors to the exhibition who flocked to the Kazakh pavilion, which embraced The painting throughout the past period, before it was finally displayed in Al-Wasl Square.

Sheikhislamov added: "The painting summarizes the features of the peoples of the earth with their various cultures, who gathered for six months, the lifetime of (Expo 2020 Dubai) in one place, especially that the painting is in its final touches, and through it we aspire to enter the Guinness Book of Records for (the largest number category). He continued, "The work has been fully documented, by filming all those who participated and used the same feather to draw their part, through a film I am working with my colleague, Akan, to produce, and it will be shown in full on social media platforms."

Sheikhislamov indicated that he “left full freedom for the participants to express their ideas during the drawing of their part, including the legend of American chess and Jamaican origin, Maurice Ashley, who received the badge (Grand Professor) in 1999, who drew a chessboard in the middle of the painting, as well as About the famous Chinese actress Bai Ling, and the Kazakh Olympic champion in cycling, Alexander Vinakurov, who painted a part that expresses their country.
