This is reported by TASS with reference to the CSTO press secretary Vladimir Zainetdinov.

“Miroslav Encha noted that he was impressed by the speed and excellent organization for the transfer and deployment of the Collective Peacekeeping Forces of the CSTO in Kazakhstan,” Zainetdinov said.

He also positively assessed the promptness of contacts between the CSTO secretariat and the UN.

In addition, Jenca stressed that the UN Secretary General received information from the CSTO on the development of events and the deployment of a peacekeeping contingent in a timely manner.

Earlier, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev said that the stay of the CSTO peacekeeping contingent in the republic was short-term, but effective.
