China News Service, January 20. According to the news of the Spanish version of the European Times WeChat public account "Xi Wen", the court date of the Colombian criminal gang burglary case originally scheduled to be heard on January 18, local time, has been postponed.

The gang consisted of three men, two women and one man.

Two of the gang members were unable to appear in court because they provided hospital certificates confirming that they went to the hospital and tested positive for Covid-19.

The court therefore postponed the hearing.

It is understood that from September 28 to November 22, 2017, this criminal gang infiltrated Chinese residences in Zaragoza and Huesca and stole a large amount of cash, jewelry, perfume, portable Bags and other valuables.

In the following months, they infiltrated the homes of Chinese businessmen in Huesca and stole a lot of money.

They were then stopped and arrested by police on the way to another attack on the A-2 motorway in Madrid.

Previously, in March 2020, the Zaragoza court heard the case once.

However, due to the impact of the new crown epidemic, the court temporarily put the case on hold.

According to the prosecutor's indictment, the three were ordered to serve seven-and-a-half years in prison for continuing to commit violent robbery and another attempted violent robbery.

In addition, the prosecutor's office demanded that they refund the victim €56,500 in cash from the robbery.
