Most people that SVT spoke to agreed that the increase in digital care visits would have a connection to the pandemic.

- I think that the digital care visits have increased during the pandemic because it has been an advantage to avoid being out and meeting people, but you can seek care from home, says Eva Nilsson.

Sharp increase since the start of the pandemic

In 2019, there were 26,600 who sought care digitally in the county.

The following year, the number of visits had almost doubled to 51,100.

Last year, it had increased further to 60,300 care contacts digitally.

- I think that ordinary people want quick decisions, especially now that it has been covid and you have become limited in how you can work and how you can socialize, says Malin Rosenberg.
