The tours around Solgården's being or not being have been many.
But maybe Tuesday's municipal board decision means an end to the tours.
- We give a proposal to the City Council to interrupt the rebuilding.
It will be too expensive, says Niklas Jonsson (S), chairman of the municipal board.
The decision also means that they want to give an assignment to the municipal housing company to build a new security farmer instead.
- There will be eight apartments, the majority three, but also twos, says Niklas Jonsson.
City Council in February
It is still too early to say what the new construction will cost or where the rental levels will be.
- Cost proposals must be produced by our company Uppvidingehus, and only then can we get the rental levels presented.
By May at the latest, the municipal board wants feedback to be able to make decisions, says Niklas Jonsson.
The issue will be raised for further consideration in the City Council in February.
