Emma Balderud and Kristina Lindroos started the company Ny in Värmland three years ago.

Then it was mostly about attracting domestic Swedish expertise to the county, but gradually a broader concept took shape.  

- Today we work with recruitment events, above all with engineering and IT skills, but also with moving-in service where we help companies that recruit abroad to land their candidates here in Värmland.

It's about everything from administration and housing to practical issues and soft values, says Emma Balderud who is one of two founders and co-owners.

Soft values ​​you say, what do they consist of?

- It's about having a social life, hobbies, something that makes you want to stay and stay here.

New in Värmland - "a good deal"

And the need for the company's services is great.

In 2020 alone, the two co-owners had a turnover of just over two million kronor and they do not see that they have reached the ceiling for the service business.

- This is a good deal.

We work with industries with many private employers who are willing to pay to find the right skills and get it here.

And the need in Sweden is great.

In IT, there is talk that there is a lack of 70,000 developers and engineers, says co-founder and co-owner Kristina Lindroos.

So far, the customers have mainly been in Värmland.

But the two entrepreneurs are now on their way beyond the county border.
