According to the recent figures, Oxelösund has the most visits by various staff from the home care service throughout Sweden.
Seen over Sörmland, Katrineholm, Nyköping and Strängnäs are at the bottom of the list of meetings with an average of 16 different people.
Reorganization during the autumn
Kristina Tercero, head of elderly care in Oxelösund municipality, believes that there is a reasonable explanation for the figure in Oxelösund standing out.
- We made a very large reorganization during the autumn, divided into more work teams and have had to rotate a lot of staff.
We have also had a high level of sick leave compared to other municipalities, she says.
"Sad to have to push in"
The information is based on the municipalities' own reports in the Kolada database in 2021.
- It felt sad to have to print these numbers in Kolada, but we want to submit a picture that is correct and we think we can get to grips with this as soon as the reorganization settles down, says Kristina Tercero.
The statistics show the average value for the number of different staff that a home care employee encounters during a two-week period.
This applies to people over the age of 65 who receive at least two visits per day.
Security alarms, food deliveries and home health care have not been included.
