EC head von der Leyen warned Russia of large-scale financial sanctions

We want conflicts to be resolved within the structures that have been created for this.

But if the situation worsens, if an attack on the territorial integrity of Ukraine follows, we will respond with large-scale economic and financial sanctions, ”RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.

Earlier, the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, invited US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken to join the meeting of foreign ministers of member states on January 24 to discuss the situation in Ukraine.

Prior to this, Borrell said that the European Union intends to strengthen coordination with the United States, NATO and partners in the OSCE.
