Omikron has taken over and the spread of infection is accelerating throughout the country, and so also in Västernorrland.
Last week, therefore, new restrictions and recommendations were introduced with the aim of reducing the spread of infection.
Public roof and restaurant closed
The restrictions apply, among other things, to public roofs at public events indoors without vaccination certificates and a limit of a maximum of eight people per party at restaurants - the restaurants must also close no later than 23.00.
The government recommends mouth protection when traveling by public transport, that adults limit the number of close contacts indoors and dissuade associations for culture, sports and leisure from arranging or participating in camps, cups or other major indoor activities with participants who do not usually gather for extended periods.
