Between three and four o'clock on Thursday night, very strong winds are expected over Gotland and the Visby area.
According to SMHI's forecast, wind gusts can reach strengths of 34 m / s.
Due to the forecast, the rescue service on Gotland is issuing a call.
- Take in loose objects from gardens and to secure, for example, trampolines, with straps or the like. Also take it easy on the roads.
Trees can fall over roads, so adjust the speed, says Ulf Wallin, external commander of the Gotland Rescue Service in a press release.
Gotlanders are also advised to have candles, matches and bottled water ready in the event of a power outage due to the wind.
