According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications Hatoyama had a fever of 38 degrees and 5 minutes last night, and when he underwent a PCR test on the 19th, he was found to be positive for the new coronavirus.



After attending the plenary session of the House of Representatives on the 17th, Parliamentary Vice-Minister Hatoyama returned to his hometown of Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture, and is currently receiving medical treatment at his home in Kurume City.



The public health center is investigating whether there are close contacts, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications has taken measures such as disinfecting the office of the political affairs office on the 19th.



Parliamentary Vice-Minister Hatoyama said he had completed two vaccinations last year.



This is the 18th member of parliament to confirm the infection.
