Infected staff are forced to work in dementia homes in Motala

- People have had to go in and work even though they are ill and even while waiting for an answer to the covid test, says Sissi Roth, section chair at the trade union Kommunal, who reacts very strongly to it.

Aftonbladet writes that staff at the dementia home Skogsgården in Motala have been called in to work despite the fact that they have confirmed covid-19.

20 people sick

Sissi Roth states that about 20 people at Skogsgården have been confirmed infected.

It concerns both residents and employees.

- It is a very high number because there are only 28 places there.

- We had wanted to see that staffing was increased a long time ago.

Then you would have had better opportunities to handle situations like this, says Sissi Roth.

Skogsgården is run by the company Vardaga.
