In addition, the smallest average consumer credit check last year was noted in December - 218.9 thousand rubles.

The bureau told RT that in 2020, the largest average consumer loan was recorded in October and amounted to 233.9 thousand rubles, and the smallest in January (173.1 thousand rubles).

NBKI Marketing Director Alexei Volkov explained that in the first months of 2021, this indicator grew at a fairly active pace, and the peak was in April.

“However, already in May, it dropped sharply, and for the next months it remained at the level of 260-280 thousand rubles.

In the last two months of 2021, it decreased significantly, reaching the lowest value last year,” he added.

The specialist also explained that in December 2021, the average check decreased by 8.9% compared to November and by 19% compared to October.

Volkov said that the determining criterion for banks to decide whether to issue a consumer loan and its parameters is still the value of the personal credit rating of the borrower, which is especially noticeable for large loans with an amount of more than 300 thousand rubles.

Earlier, the NBKI announced a high demand for consumer loans in December.
