In response, Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Kaneko expressed his intention to work on improving operations.

Due to the problem that the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism was rewriting the statistical data, the third-party committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications reported that the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications may have double-counted the data from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in August last year. We have compiled a report stating that we did not take appropriate measures despite receiving it.



Regarding this, Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Kaneko pointed out at a press conference that "the response of the department in charge of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications was inappropriate, and issues such as insufficient awareness of vertical division within the organization and insufficient communication with each ministry and agency were pointed out. ".
