Meta challenged turnover fine of almost 2 billion rubles

“The court received an appeal,” spokeswoman for the Tagansky Court of Moscow, Zulfiya Gurinchuk, told RIA Novosti.

In December, a world court in Moscow imposed a negotiable fine on Meta in the amount of 1.99 billion rubles for repeated failure to remove prohibited information.

Prior to this, the court also imposed a turnover fine on Google in the amount of more than 7.2 billion rubles for the systematic failure to remove prohibited information.
