Very gray atmosphere over a majority of the country

Friday morning, the atmosphere will be very gray on the majority of the country. If the south-eastern quarter, the Jura, the south of the Massif Central, the Limousin and the surroundings of the Pyrenees will be privileged with a sun often present, elsewhere it will always be the grayness which will dominate, in particular in the valleys of the South-West. During the day, a few gaps will break through at times over the Grand-Est, and over the coastal departments, from Brittany to Charente-Maritime, but the clouds will thicken again by the ocean in the evening and will even give a few scattered drizzles.

On the Mediterranean coasts maritime clouds will gain in the afternoon.

The east wind will be present on the northern half.

It will weaken near the Mediterranean and remain calm in the Southwest.

Minimum temperatures will most often be between 0 and 2 degrees in the northwest quarter, between -2 and 2 degrees elsewhere, with locally -4 at the foot of the Pyrenees and west of the Massif Central, as well as in Franche -County or in the interior of the Var.

The maximum values ​​will rarely rise above 4 to 7 degrees, but will reach 8 to 11 in the south of the Massif Central as well as on the Pyrenean foothills, and 10 to 14 degrees on the Mediterranean rim.
