The sculpture in Sundsvall that blew over has not been inspected

Arne Jones' sculpture Spiral Reflex did not withstand Friday's strong winds.

After adorning the small square outside EQ House in Skönsberg for 61 years, the 14-meter-high sculpture fell with a bang.

Fortunately, no one was injured, even though it is a well-visited place.

- We are very happy that no one was injured, says Cecilia Andersson, head of the park department Sundsvall municipality.

The foundation is in poor condition

When SVT's reporter takes a closer look at the sad remains of the artwork, it is clear that the foundation was badly damaged by the ravages of time.

The Park Department at the City Planning Office in Sundsvall Municipality is responsible for the building.
