“State generation shows positive dynamics of coal accumulation during the autumn-winter period.
Stocks of coal in the warehouses of state thermal power plants increased by 32% during the heating season.
The increase in private generation reserves during the autumn-winter period amounted to 25%.
The overall increase is 26%,” the ministry said in a statement.
Earlier, the press service of the Ukrainian company DTEK Energy reported that a ship with coal from the United States arrived in Ukraine.
On January 6, the representative of Kiev in the socio-economic subgroup of the contact group on resolving the situation in Donbass, Victoria Strakhova, announced that Russia had supplied 60 wagons of coal to Ukraine for the Lugansk TPP.
