The mayor's office of Alma-Ata announced the need to restore almost 250 buildings after the riots

He said this at a meeting in the city administration.

“To date, 243 objects have been identified to be restored.

Of these, 27 are objects of state institutions, 216 are objects of small and medium-sized businesses, ”RIA Novosti quotes him.

According to him, ten out of 27 buildings of state bodies will be restored at the expense of budgetary funds.

In particular, the buildings of the akimat and the TV channel "Kazakhstan", as well as the residence of the president, were included in the corresponding list.

Earlier, the press service of the commandant's office of the city of Alma-Ata stated that law enforcement agencies of Kazakhstan since the beginning of the anti-terrorist operation in Alma-Ata have detained 2,601 people for participating in illegal actions, looting and other crimes.
