“As part of the implementation of the Vienna Document 2011 “On Confidence and Security Building Measures”, a Russian group of inspectors plans to conduct an assessment visit to a military facility of the British Armed Forces,” RIA Novosti quotes Ryzhkov.

As specified, the evaluation visit will take place on January 18 for one day.

The Ministry of Defense noted that the purpose of the inspection is to verify information about the forces and plans for the deployment of the main systems of weapons and equipment.

In December, the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Valery Gerasimov, held talks with the head of the British Defense Staff, Admiral Tony Radakin.
