He also stressed that the new generation of Serbia knows English well.

“It’s almost mandatory to study it in schools, so it’s ridiculous to say that it needs to be promoted,” Bruter added.

Earlier, RT received documents stating that the US State Department intends to allocate funds for a program to promote the English language in Serbia.

The new initiative involves, among other things, the fight against the so-called brain drain from the Balkan republic.
