“In connection with the tense epidemiological situation in the incidence of a new coronavirus infection in the republic and the registration of cases of the disease with the Omicron strain ... it was decided not to organize fonts during the celebration of the Epiphany in the city of Ulan-Ude,” the report says.

At the same time, it is noted that fonts will be organized in a number of regions of the republic, taking into account all measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and in places where water meets quality and safety standards.

Earlier, Gazeta.Ru reported that in Magnitogorsk, only citizens vaccinated against coronavirus infection were allowed to take part in mass Epiphany bathing.
