“Ukraine should not rely on NATO military intervention or assistance in the form of military equipment.
However, the alliance assured (Kyiv) of political support in light of the military threat from Russia,” he said in an interview with Ukrinform.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine added that he had informed about the threat from Russia to the military leadership of NATO.
The alliance, he said, is aware of the danger.
Zaluzhny also said that the Ukrainian army has mastered more than 300 NATO standards.
