Chinanews.com, January 17. According to the Italian "Xinhua Times" WeChat public account "Italian Overseas Chinese Network", recently, a fire broke out in a Chinese house in Novellara, Reggio Emilia province, Italy. 15 Chinese were poisoned.

It is reported that that night, several Chinese relatives and friends in the residence were gathering.

An electric heater in a room on the second floor of the residence suddenly caught fire, and the flames quickly spread through curtains, sheets, mattresses and furniture, and thick plumes of smoke filled the house.

Fortunately, several fire brigade and local military police arrived in time. They rescued and evacuated the Chinese in the house first, and put out the fire in a short time.

15 Chinese aged between 11 and 48 suffered mild poisoning due to inhalation of thick smoke. They were sent to the hospital for treatment that night, and their condition was not serious.

An investigation into the fire by the Novellara City Fire Brigade and the Gendarmerie revealed that there was a quality problem with the heater that caused the fire.
