  China Environmental Monitoring Station, in conjunction with the Central Meteorological Observatory, the National Air Pollution Prevention and Control Center, the Northeast, South China, Southwest, Northwest, Yangtze River Delta Regional Air Quality Prediction and Forecast Center, and the Beijing Ecological Environment Monitoring Center, will carry out the second half of January 2022 (16th To the 31st) National Air Quality Forecast Conference.

  The results of the consultation showed that in the second half of January, most of the country had normal diffusion conditions, and the air quality was dominated by good to light pollution.

Among them, moderate to severe pollution may occur locally in North China, East China, Fenwei Plain and Southwest China, and the primary pollution is fine particulate matter (PM2.5).

  In the second half of January, the air quality in the northern part of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and surrounding areas was mainly good, and the central and southern parts were dominated by light to moderate pollution, and the primary pollutant was PM2.5.

Among them, from the 16th to the 19th, moderate pollution may occur locally in the central and southern parts of the region; from the 20th to the 24th, the central and southern parts of the region are dominated by moderate to severe pollution.

From the 25th to the 27th, most of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and surrounding areas were dominated by good to mild pollution.

  The results of the consultation showed that in the second half of January, most of the air quality in the Jiangsu, Anhui, Shandong and Henan regions was dominated by light pollution, and the primary pollutant was PM2.5.

Among them, from the 16th to the 19th, most of the areas in Jiangsu, Anhui, Shandong and Henan suffered from mild to moderate pollution, and there may be a process of severe pollution locally.
