According to TASS, the first test must be passed 48 hours before arrival in Beijing from other regions of China, the second - within 72 hours after entering the city.

It is clarified that this measure is designed to “eliminate epidemiological risks in advance” and will be valid from January 22 until the end of March.

According to the center, in the absence of tests after arriving in Beijing, a record of the absence of PCR test results may appear in the Health Code mobile application, which is mandatory for use by every citizen and foreigner.

As noted, if there is such an entry in the application, a person will not be able to visit department stores, shops, social events and government offices.

Earlier it was reported that the first case of the coronavirus strain "omicron" was detected in Beijing.
