On Friday, a hunter was reported missing.
He had not returned after having been hunting with his dog in the Svenljunga area.
- Relatives report him missing at 15.30.
The man would have been home a few hours earlier.
We start searching and relatives found his dog, says police spokesman Peter Adlersson.
A large search operation was started where police and rescue services participate.
At first they searched with drones, helicopters and dogs.
- We do not know what happened.
This is in the middle of the forest by a lake, so the rescue service has had divers on site as well, says Peter Adlersson.
At nine o'clock on Friday night, the search is still ongoing.
- The helicopter is not left, but we are currently fully searching with a dog.
The rescue service is also still there and then there are a number of volunteers who also help, says Peter Adlersson.
