In the past 9 years, the "Belt and Road" initiative has been developing continuously in cooperation, and its concept has attracted the attention, response, recognition and active participation of more and more countries and international organizations.

The infrastructure connectivity of countries along the “Belt and Road” has been continuously deepened, the level of international connectivity has continued to improve, and a large number of cooperation projects have taken root, demonstrating China’s in-depth integration with the world in an open and win-win attitude.

  The Belt and Road Initiative spans the Eurasian continent.

Based on its unique geographical advantages and years of economic and social development achievements, Xinjiang hopes to obtain better and faster development opportunities, and thus accelerates the construction of the core area of ​​the Silk Road Economic Belt.

  The construction of the core area of ​​the Silk Road Economic Belt with policy communication, facility connectivity, unimpeded trade, financial integration and people-to-people bond as the main content has achieved remarkable results.

"Big Channel" Improves the Level of Convenience

  Up to now, 172 countries and international organizations have signed more than 200 cooperation documents on the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" with China, and promoted the establishment of more than 90 bilateral cooperation mechanisms.

Among them, promoting infrastructure interconnection is conducive to improving the quality and efficiency of foreign investment and cooperation.

Taking the solution of "connectivity" and "connectivity" as the guide, facility connectivity is crucial.

  At present, the epidemic has severely hindered the transportation capacity of traditional transportation channels such as aviation and shipping. At the same time, the European market has an urgent demand for commodities such as medical products, anti-epidemic materials, retail products and electronic products, which has led to the rapid recovery of China-Europe freight trains and rapid growth.

The smooth and convenient China-Europe trains provide a solid guarantee for China and the countries along the Silk Road Economic Belt to improve the level of connectivity.

  Flour and oil from Kazakhstan, lobster and grouper from Gwadar Port in Pakistan, red wine from Georgia, chocolate, candy and biscuits from Uzbekistan, juice from Azerbaijan, coffee from Malaysia...Commodities, common and unusual, come into Xinjiang Ordinary people's homes; Xinjiang's traditional delicacies, naan, fruits and vegetables, clothing, shoes and hats, and electronic products have also gone abroad through the Silk Road Economic Belt and entered the homes of ordinary people in countries along the route.

  With the support of air, railway, highway, pipeline transportation and other transportation networks, Xinjiang has formed three major channels in the north, middle and south, realizing the interconnection between the three major regions of China's east, middle and west and neighboring countries via Xinjiang.

The level of infrastructure construction in Xinjiang and the convenience of customs clearance at ports are important guarantees for a smooth Silk Road Economic Belt.

On December 4, 2021, the China-Europe freight train "Tianma" from Wuwei South in Gansu to Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, launched the first international freight train for cross-border sea-rail intermodal transport.

The train leaves the country via Khorgos, passes through the Aktau port in Kazakhstan, the Caspian Sea, and the Baku port in Azerbaijan, and finally arrives in Tbilisi.

  On the construction of international transport corridors, China is negotiating with Pakistan, Mongolia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan on the construction of three cross-border railways to speed up the construction of cross-border railways.

At present, Xinjiang has carried out bilateral cooperation in international road transport with five countries, namely Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Pakistan and Mongolia, and has opened 107 international road transport lines with neighboring countries.

In June last year, China Yutong Corporation and Kazakh Technology Corporation established a joint venture factory to produce pure electric buses and environmentally friendly buses that meet Euro V emission standards.

In Nur-Sultan, the capital of Kazakhstan, citizens traveled on pure electric buses.

  In the field of economic cooperation, neighboring countries have a more positive attitude towards the development of China's Silk Road Economic Belt, and their cooperation is more pragmatic.

In particular, the overseas economic and trade cooperation zone has attracted the attention and expectation of the host country.

For example, Hualing International Special Economic Zone and Hualing Free Industrial Park have attracted a total of 218 enterprises in the zone, created 320 jobs in the host country, and handed over a total of nearly 80 million yuan (RMB, the same below) in tax revenue to the host country.

  Kyrgyzstan is one of the first countries to support and actively participate in the construction of the "Belt and Road".

Over the years, the cooperation between the two countries has yielded fruitful results.

For example, with the help of Chinese experts, the Bishkek-Naren-Turgat and Bishkek-Osh roads have been built.

In the field of culture and education, the cooperation between the two countries has injected a strong impetus to promote mutual interests.

More than 4,000 Kyrgyz students are studying in Chinese universities, and the younger generation of Kyrgyzstan is increasingly interested in China.

On November 5, 2019, "Hainan Normal University 2019 International Cultural Festival" was held in Haikou, and Kyrgyzstan students prepared special food for this.
