Despite widespread frosts, the weather will be largely sunny this Friday.

Minimum temperatures will drop between -6 and 0 degrees in most regions, they will be a little less low near the Channel and on the coastal borders with -1 to +3 degrees.

The weather will still be calm and largely sunny on Friday but with widespread frosts, forecasts Météo-France.

On the Hauts de France, the north of the Paris basin, as well as on the Pays de la Loire, it will still be necessary to expect a gray morning under many low clouds or mists, then beautiful clearings, apart from a few sheets of stubborn grayness on mainly Hauts de France.

A generally sunny day

On the rest of France the day will generally be very sunny.

At daybreak, however, it will still be necessary to reckon with fog, often freezing in the valleys of the South-West, in the plain of Alsace, in the Val de Saône and in Lyon.

These will evolve favorably during the morning, but may persist locally until the beginning of the afternoon, especially in the Alsace plain.
