In the clip, the unvaccinated tell about how they experience the resistance in society.

Some hang up immediately.

Others are afraid to talk because the question is infected.

On several occasions, SVT Nyheter Halland has tried to interview people who for various reasons have chosen not to be vaccinated against covid-19, including people who have made reports to the Ombudsman, JO.

Now some unvaccinated people talk anonymously about why they do not dare to express their opinions.

The fact that they have not been vaccinated is about concern about side effects and doubts about the vaccine's effect.

Several of those we spoke to also believe that the media has contributed to increasing people's fear of the coronavirus and that the reporting has been too one-sided.

12,000 JO registrations

What unites several of those that SVT talks to in the clip is that they JO-reported the introduction of vaccine evidence.

In total, the Ombudsman has received around 12,000 notifications concerning vaccine certificates.

- You could have had rapid tests or that you have antibodies or other things than just specifically a vaccination session, says someone we talk to.

The Discrimination Ombudsman has also received around 800 reports, tips and complaints about vaccination.

None of the cases have so far been taken further.

Unvaccinated overrepresented on iva

According to the Swedish Intensive Care Registry, almost seven out of ten (68 percent) who have been in intensive care for covid-19 since October last year have been unvaccinated.

It is an over-representation compared to what it looks like in society as a whole, where less than two out of ten are unvaccinated.

Just over one percent reported side effects

By the turn of the year 2021/2022, more than 7.7 million Swedes had received at least one dose of covid vaccine.

Of these, just over one in one hundred (1 percent) have reported a suspected side effect, according to data from the Medical Products Agency.

- It is above all about mild side effects that often go away in one or a couple of days, says Veronica Arthurson at the Medical Products Agency.
