In a farm located in Turkey, some cows are not like the others.

On their heads, we can notice… virtual reality glasses.

What give them the impression of living in the middle of large green meadows, while they are in reality in the middle of their congeners in stables, reports

 Tuesday.

Soon the whole herd equipped?

The glasses also play classical music in the ears of cattle. “It has a positive effect on the cows. They feel better! », Assures the breeder behind this unusual initiative. But animal welfare is not its only concern. Because according to the Turkish farmer, cows equipped with these helmets would produce better quality milk.

In addition, he claims to have seen an additional production of five liters per cow per day.

"Instead of producing 22 liters of milk per cow as usual, the use of these glasses allows to harvest 27 liters per day from my two cows equipped", assures the breeder.

A first success which prompted the latter to order ten additional glasses.

And if the production results are conclusive, the farmer intends to equip his entire herd with these helmets.
