Faced with its criticisms, the Ronde des Quartiers revised its copy a little: "In 2022, the association wishes to allow new local restaurateurs to put themselves forward, put local producers at the heart of the event and offer various cultural activities. .

A place of 8,000m² close to public transport
But this speech did not seem to convince the ecological town hall of Bordeaux.
"We have made a request for an event with our new project," explains Christian Baulme, president of the Ronde des Quartiers.

"Whether it is a large square, a park, private or public, we are looking for a place of more than 8,000m²", specifies the association.
A place that would be close to public transport and in particular to a tram line if possible.
“At the moment, we have no leads.
We would of course want to stay in Bordeaux, ”recalls Christian Baulme.

For its part, the town hall already seems to have turned the page on this subject.
If on other events she still collaborates with the Ronde des Quartiers, on the Epicuriales not.
“Their prices don't suit us and we really want something closer to local producers.
We were approached by restaurateurs on another project, ”says Sandrine Jacotot, assistant in charge of shops, markets and local events.
