CSTO peacekeepers took under protection five socially significant objects in Kazakhstan per day

Colonel-General Andrei Serdyukov, Commander of the Collective Peacekeeping Forces of the CSTO, spoke about this.

“Over the past 24 hours, the CSTO peacekeepers have taken five more socially significant facilities under protection,” TASS quoted him as saying.

Earlier, the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, said that the country has legally applied to the CSTO, since otherwise control over Almaty could be lost.
