The case dates back to 2012 and 2016. Drivers of Renault, Nissan and Dacia cars equipped with 1 liter 2 TCe or DIG-T engines complain of overconsumption of oil, premature wear of their car, and even 'an engine failure, which for some put their lives in danger.

A user says she was scared of her life when her car crashed into a crash as she was driving on the freeway.

Several drivers report their difficulties to Renault, which refuses any support on the pretext that they have not scrupulously respected the maintenance rules.

One of the motorists creates a Facebook page and the UFC Que-Chooser association is trying to have these defective vehicles withdrawn from the market.

Without success.

The engines of 400,000 vehicles are implicated by these defects, according to the association.

A dozen models are affected: the Clio 4, Mégane 3, Kadjar and Kangoo 2 at Renault, Duster, Dokker and Lodgy at Dacia, Juke and Qashqai 2 at Nissan, and Citan at Mercedes, among others.

Collective action is therefore launched.

According to the motorists' lawyer, Maître Christophe Lèguevaques, Renault has knowingly been deceiving its consumers since 2015. The diamond brand affirms, for its part, that 90% of cases have been treated and that it had never been ordered to withdraw these market vehicles.

Stay vigilant already, then join the Facebook group, a fix has been thought by the victims.

If the motor is still in good condition, maybe it is time to apply it asap. Https://t.co/SclQMIeDMV
