Tebboune: stalkers "from another planet" paint a bleak picture of Algeria

Today, Sunday, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune said that some "stalkers in Algeria" are portraying it as dark and claiming that there is a food shortage crisis in the stores.

During his supervision of the National Forum for the Renewal of the Health System, he explained that "some stalkers in Algeria, as if they were from another planet, began to portray it in darkness and claim that there are no foodstuffs on store shelves" in Algeria, according to the Algerian newspaper "Al-Shorouk".

The Algerian president warned against "rumors and letters of despair through which the parties are trying to sow doubt and mistrust in the hearts of citizens."

Regarding the country's health system, Tebboune stressed that Algeria "is not the best medically, but it is not in the last ranks, as some are trying to promote."

Media reports had talked about a significant increase in the prices of basic foodstuffs, such as oil and sugar, while pictures circulating on the communication sites showed long queues in front of Algerian stores.
