The Liberal Democratic Party's Tanigaki Group, in response to the opinion from its members that it should clarify its stance to support the Kishida administration and show its presence, will consider the future of the group, including the transition to a faction. I will consider it.

The Tanigaki Group was established 10 years ago when the Liberal Democratic Party was an opposition party, led by former President Tanigaki, and continued to be active even after Mr. Tanigaki retired from the political world. doing.

Following the same trend as the Kishida faction led by Prime Minister Kishida, the members of the group supported Prime Minister Kishida in last year's presidential election, including Endo, the chairman of the election measures committee, Nakatani, the assistant to the prime minister, and other group executives. There is an opinion that the stance to support the administration should be clarified and its presence should be shown.

For this reason, we are considering how the group should be in the future, including the transition to a faction. First, we are planning to move the meeting held every Wednesday to the same Thursday as other factions.

However, since some members of the Diet supported candidates other than Prime Minister Kishida in the presidential election and some members belong to other factions, we plan to flexibly respond to them for the time being.
