State Duma Deputy Bessarab called the condition for the growth of pensions in Russia

She said this in an interview with URA.RU.

“First of all, everything depends not on the economy, but on wages. A pension is, in fact, lost earnings. In order for pensions to grow, it is necessary for wages to rise. Because it is from the wages of Russians that the solidary pension fund is formed. An increase in salaries will certainly lead to an increase in pensions, ”Bessarab said.

Earlier it was reported that the insurance pensions of non-working pensioners will be indexed by 5.9% from January 1 and will increase to an average of 18,521 rubles.

Also, a group of State Duma deputies and a number of senators submitted to the State Duma a bill on annual New Year's Eve payments to pensioners.
