Shortly after 7 pm, a single-vehicle accident occurred on Stockholmsvägen near the airport in Västerås.

It was a car driven into a tree.

Three people were traveling in the car, and two were taken to hospital.

The injury situation is unclear, the health service states.

The two who are being cared for are both young men who are younger than 25.

The rescue service had to cut up the roof of the car during the rescue work according to P4 Västmanland.

Johan Gustavsson, the Rescue Service's internal commander, calls for caution in traffic.

An accident also occurred on the E18 between Hallstahammar and Köping on Friday evening, when a car drove into the road barrier.

At 9.30 pm, an alarm came about an accident on Surahammarsvägen in Västerås with several vehicles involved.
