The Franco-Italian STMicroelectronics and the South Korean Samsung Electronics, number one in “smartphones” and one of the largest manufacturers of memory chips, are seeing their sales climb in a context of global shortage.

In fact, sales of STMicroelectronics increased by 25% in 2021 to more than 12 and a half billion dollars.

Likewise, Samsung expects its profits to rise by more than 50% in the fourth quarter of 2021. This good health is explained by the strong global demand for semiconductors.
