The National Police have arrested the owner of a bar located in the Madrid district of Arganzuela where drinks and viagra, a sexually stimulating drug, were sold.
The 43-year-old Dominican woman with no prior record is
accused of a crime against public health
.
The place is located on Rafael de Riego street, very close to Atocha.
The owner of the premises was in charge of selling the pills, according to the Madrid Police Headquarters.
As part of a device to prevent the consumption and possession of narcotic substances, the agents
observed a man who, when he was leaving the bar
, hid an object among his belongings when he noticed the police presence.
The individual was identified by the police and when they searched him they found different types of narcotics.
Suspecting that drugs could be being distributed in the premises,
the agents intervened last Tuesday at midnight
and located in the bar a bag with almost a hundred sexual stimulators.
These were viagra pills, but under other trade names such as
Mambo
36
and
LaPela
.
In addition, in the bag of the owner of the premises
they found almost 6,000 euros in divided bills
, which were hidden in a sock and distributed in several purses.
