• Harassment They investigate the suicide of a young woman after suffering a "hell" of harassment in the networks for six months

"Mom, I'm tired of living."

In one sentence, in five words, Nieves warned his mother of what happened a few days later.

It was one afternoon, when he arrived at his home, in Navas de San Juan (Jaén) and after enduring an ordeal of harassment for more than

six months

, first on the streets of his town and then on social networks.

On December 28, the 20-year-old girl was found dead at the family home.

Loli, Nieves' mother, this Friday told more about the hell her daughter suffered since July last year.

He has done so through a letter written in the first person and that another relative of the young woman has read at the end of the

demonstration

that has thrown out a good part of the 4,000 residents of Navas de San Juan to condemn what happened.

That particular Hell of Snow began with

banners

pasted through the streets of the town and placed on the windshields of cars, with his printed photograph and accusations and insults.

He continued with emails in which, always supplanting his identity, he asked for help for alleged mistreatment of his parents and ended up with a false Instagram account from which threats were made on behalf of Nieves that were later carried out.

"No one is going to give her back to us, but there must be, exist and justice be done," Nieves' mother insisted in her open letter.

It all started in July last year, when ads appeared on various dating websites

requesting sex

with her phone number and, in some cases, including photographs of an underage relative.

His phone, from that moment on, was "a bomb" that rang at any time of the day, most of the time with the

number hidden

.

Nieves then changed the phone and, following the recommendation of the Civil Guard, only gave the new number to the family, not even to his most intimate circle of friends, who did not take it well and who came to accuse the young woman, always according to her mother, of being the author of that harassment.

"Another way to add more pain to what I already suffered," adds Loli.

On another occasion, they commissioned an elevator company to install an appliance in the family's home and did so on behalf of Nieves, as did posters offering jobs in the hotel trade with his phone.

Although among everything that the mother has revealed this Friday, the e-mails that someone, pretending to be her, sent to the city clerk denouncing false

abuse

of the parents stand out.

Concentration of rejection against the harassment of Nieves, who took his own life on December 28.

The

fake account

on the social network Instagram was the last straw.

He appeared when the phone had already changed and that route did not work and from there, the false Nieves made sexual proposals and threatened third parties.

For example, with damaging his car and, the next morning, that person's vehicle was found damaged.

Nieves went so far as to ask her missing Instagram account if she wanted something from her.

"Yes, yes," they replied with an emoticon of a skull.

All this produced continuous

anxiety attacks

and on more than one occasion she had to run, her mother has told her, to the health center for emergency treatment.

"But this was not important to anyone and my Nieves suffered and suffered ...".

The mother of the young woman has lamented that justice had not "arrived more quickly" and recalled the complaints that were filed for these events and that a court in La Carolina is investigating.

After the third complaint, Loli confessed, "we felt a lot of

hopelessness

."

That afternoon in which her daughter told her that she did not want to live, her mother asked her if she had gotten angry with someone.

"No, Mom, it's because of all this they are doing to me," Nieves replied.
